みなさんごきげんよう、見た目でオタクに見られがちだけど意外に運動できて驚かれることで有名な虫眼鏡です。

とはいっても今は全然体動きませんけどね。そしてそもそも普段はコンタクトなんですけど！

さて、そんなオタクな私ですけども、アニメの方はとんと疎いのでございます。

高校時代友達に話を合わせるために見たり、付き合ってた人が見てるのを横目で見てたり程度です。

ですが最近改めてアニメをちょろっと見てみて、「あぁ勉強になるなぁ」と思いまして。やはりターゲットの年齢層が東海オンエアと似ているということもあってか、参考になることが多いですね！

つまり、ちょっとアニメ見たくなったわけです。

僕が昔見てて好きだったアニメをうろ覚えで紹介するので、みなさんなんかオススメあったら教えてください！

化物語

名作ですね！小説も全部買ってました！羽川翼が好きです。

日常

ギャグアニメですね！ユーチューバー好きな人ならきっとハマるので見てみて！

機動戦士ガンダム

親父が見てたのを見てました。主人公が全然かっこよくないのにイライラしてた覚えがあります。戦争は怖いですね。

とらドラ！

高校時代の友達の佐々木くんにごり押されて見た恋愛アニメですね。昔の僕はこれを見てキュンキュンしてたと思います。

Angel Beats!

高校時代の友達の中野くんにごり押されて見たやつです。確かめっちゃ泣いた覚えがあります。

てなわけで最近のアニメについて教えられたい虫眼鏡でした。また来週！

毎年実家の玄関付近に飾られるクリスマスツリー！

It's almost Christmas! Time flies...

アメリカではこの季節になると、エッグノッグというドリンクを飲みます。

In the states, we drink eggnog during Christmas season.

牛乳、クリーム、砂糖と溶き卵をまぜて、お好みでシナモンやナツメグ、ラム酒やブランデーなどを入れる甘くてクリーミーなドリンクです。

You mix milk, cream, sugar, and whipped drinks to make eggnog, and add cinnamon and nutmeg to your taste. Adult drinkers can add rum or brandy as well!

アメリカ人にとっては普通の伝統だけど、生卵を使ったドリンクを飲むなんて、他の国の人にとって、奇妙な伝統なのかも。

This tradition is normal to Americans, but perhaps people of other countries and cultures may view drinking a drink with raw eggs as an odd tradition.

日本の奇妙なクリスマスの伝統といえば「ケンタッキーのチキンを食べる」ですが、他の国はどうなんでしょう？

なんと南アフリカでは、クリスマスに揚げた毛虫を食べるのだと！

In South Africa, they reportedly eat deep-fried caterpillars on Christmas!

ウクライナでは、ツリーにライトや飾り物ではなく、蜘蛛の巣を使ってデコレーションをするらしいです。

In Ukraine, instead of lights or decorations, Christmas trees are adorned with spider webs.

貧乏な女性がツリーを蜘蛛の巣で飾ったら、次の日蜘蛛の巣が金の糸にかわっていたという昔話が発祥らしいです。

Apparently, the origin of this tradition is rooted in an old tale about a poor woman who had nothing else to decorate her tree with but cobwebs. The next day, she discovered that the webs had turned into gold strands.

ドイツやオーストリア、東ヨーロッパのある地域では、クランプス（Krampus）という化け物が悪い子供たちを追っかけてお仕置きするというかなり不気味な伝統があるそうです。

In parts of Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe, there is a tradition of a monster called Krampus coming after naughty kids.

ドイツではもう一つ奇妙なクリスマスの伝統が…。イブの夜、ピクルスを一本、クリスマスツリーに飾って、次の朝最初にピクルスをみつけた子供がプレゼントをもらうらしいです。

There's another odd Christmas tradition in Germany! On Christmas eve, a pickle is hidden in the Christmas tree, and the next day, the first child to find the pickle wins a small gift.

そしてノルウェーでは、クリスマスイブは悪霊や魔女が来る日として知られているため、家にあるほうきを魔女に取られてしまわないように全部隠してしまうらしいです！

And in Norway, Christmas eve is known as the day evil spirits and witches come visit, so Norwegians hide their brooms so that they are not taken away by the witches.

最後に、スペインのカタルーニャでは、「排便丸太」が人気らしいです。

In Spain's Catalonia region, the "pooping log" is quite popular.

毎年12月になると毎晩この丸太におやつや食べ物をあたえて、寒くないようにブランケットをかけてあげます。

Every year in December, snacks and food are given to this log doll and a blanket is placed over it to keep it warm.

そしてクリスマスの日になると、家族全員でこの丸太を棒でたたきまくり、う〇ち（ささげたおやつや食べ物）を出させます。

Then, on Christmas day, the entire family beats the log with sticks and makes it "poop out" the snacks and food.
